If you want to install bit Microsoft Access Database Engine , you will first need to remove the bit installation of Office products. I want to know why won't it install even though i don't have an office app running in x64 bit. Appreciate if anyone can advise. And also it seems the installer is referring to "bit registration" even though i run the 32 bit installer.
I don't know if this is intentional or an error. The reasons why you couldn't install Access is because your computer already has either the bit or bit version of Office. Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. This install correctly. Just to verify, were you able to visit the support article provided on my first reply? If not, please take a look at it as it might help you with your concern. Can you please advise is there any other way I can check if I do have a x64 bit installed? I checked the program files folder for x64 bit and I really don't see anything in there. I just don't see the sense of uninstalling something that I cannot see.
